With All Better Pediatrics Breast Medicine program – rest assured you will be getting the best care all the time. Dr. Folz  is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Licensed Lactation Consultant and sees all moms and babies requiring specialized breastfeeding visits.  There are two common types of breastfeeding visits:

  1. Well visits:  A well breastfeeding visit is when mom and baby see Dr. Folz for a regularly scheduled office visit.  During this visit Dr. Folz checks the baby to assure that they are well and meeting milestones, provides any required breastfeeding assistance, and directs our staff to administer any required vaccines.
  2. Sick visits/Feeding problems of a newborn:  A “sick” visit scheduled specifically to address breast feeding issues is an opportunity, separate from well visits, for mom and baby to meet with Dr. Folz.  A breastfeeding visit involves Dr. Folz assessing the breastfeeding issues and developing an individual plan of care to help mom and baby accomplish breastfeeding success.

You can schedule an appointment to see Dr. Folz if you are already having complex issues breastfeeding or just want to begin with breastfeeding as part as your baby’s first check-up.
